Popcorn Chicken

 


Ingredients:

4-5 Chicken thighs(Boneless)
1 Egg
2 .1/2 Flour
1 1/2 tbsp brown Sugar
Oil
1 tbsp all purpose season
2 tbsp Green season
2 tsp salt
1/2 Cup water
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp red pepper

Methods:

Clean chicken with lime and vinegar then cute them into small cubes place chicken into a large bowl add brown sugar, green season, all purpose season, salt, pepper and rub that in then cover bowl and set aside to marinate for 20 mins.


In a another bowl add flour and season up flour using all purpose season and a pinch of salt set that aside. In a small bowl add 1 egg and 1/2 cup water mix that out.

Now put chicken cubes into flour in small portions then take it out give it a little shake then add it into egg wash take it back out and let it drip for a bit then add it back into the flour pressing it down in the flour ensuring all is covered  then squeeze it in the palm of your hand and then shake it a bit until it's looking flaky  then rest them on a plate.

In the frying pan add sufficient oil for deep frying once the oil is hot add chicken to the pot in small portions moving them around in the oil letting them fry for about 4-5 mins.

Note: You can enjoy this lovely popcorn chicken with some lovely fries or potato wedges, or even some festivals.
